Description

Sour Orange is a tree, but also great for screens or hedges.  The bitter 3″ diameter bright red- orange fruit is ornamental.  The branches have sharp thorns and the leaves are aromatic.  Fragrant white flowers appear singly or in small clusters in April, followed by summer through fall fruit.

Sour Orange is grown best in full sun with moist, but not overly wet soil.  Water regularly, but leave the soil time to dry out between watering.
