Description

Native to tropical regions, the Jacaranda tree is heat resistant in Phoenix. This deciduous tree has a moderate growth rate to 40 ft. tall flowering clusters of tubular lilac-blue flowers during April and May.  Jacarandas are good shade trees.  They need deep, regular watering especially during the hot summer months.  Let dry out between waterings.
