Description
Medium-sized, oval, reddish-brown fruits are sweet and chewy like dates when fully ripe. This slow growing tree is an excellent choice for all climates. It requires hot summers, and although it will tolerate drought, needs regular irrigation to produce a quality fruit crop. Jujube trees can grow to 40 feet and prefer sandy, well drained soil.
