Also known as Jumping Cholla, the Teddy Bear Cholla is native to Arizona, California, and Northwestern Mexico. It is a tree like cactus named for its furry, cuddly appearance. It is actually covered with dense, sharp one inch spines that are not at all soft and cuddly.
