Description

Chitalpa is a hybrid of the Desert Willow and the Catalpa.  It is a small tree that blooms a white to light pink flower in the late spring and early summer.  The blooms have purple veins.  Chitalpa is prone to trunk sunscald, making western exposure during the summer months a bad idea.  This tree will also need ample regular watering during the summer months.
