Description

Originating in the southwest, this shrub grows slowly to 6 ft. and has small yellow flowers in the spring followed by fuzzy seed pods. The leaf secretion gives them a varnished look.  They have a creosote fragrance when wet, said to be the scent of rain in the desert.
